As a continuation from my last blog whereby I believe the root of “World Peace” is centered on peace in the Middle East with the first step being negotiated peace between Israel and the Palestinians, I would like to remain objective and independent in my views such that I would like to today bring Iraq into my views as they seem to be the closest at this time to a full fledge civil war of rage like wild animals stuck together in a cage. However, it is important to note that Israel and Palestine seem to be awakening from their hatred induced coma state with the potential for peace negotiations to be resumed in the near future in the United States, while Egypt continues to operate in supremacy domination mode whereby the minority Christian military continues to hold on to power while the Muslim majority is fuming at the seams hoping to awaken from this horrible dream. As for the Syrians, both sides are still in an anger induced coma state for the mentally insane such that millions of Syrians continue to suffer each and every day. In terms of the Russians and Ukrainians, they seem to have entered into a political war game whereby neither party wishes to concede but rather seems to prefer to enter into a civil war and commit dirty deeds. While Israelis, Palestinians, Egyptians, Syrians, Russians and Ukrainians continue along their respective paths toward enlightenment, it is now time for the Iraqis to be enlightened as to the path of quelling their current tensions before any more civil war breaks out which bears the risk of leading to a third and final world war on this earth, after which, there will be no place for anyone left to run. In summary, Observers around the world are stunned by the speed and scope of assaults on every major city in the upper Tigris River Valley, including Mosul, Iraq's second-largest city, by the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, or ISIS. However, as the ISIS rebels extend their reach across Iraq, the U.S. Air Force was forced to intervene in order to prevent Genocide while Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki relinquished power opening a new political chapter that U.S. officials hope will move Iraq toward a more unified front against Islamic jihadists currently running wild and literally beheading “Infidels” like pigs without shedding a tear as blood spills out of their victims giving everybody creepy chills. On October 3, 2014, the ISIS assault on the Kurdish city of KOBANI reached a decisive moment as Kurdish fighters were holding off Islamist fighters from the east as Turkey says it will do “whatever it can” to stop KOBANI from falling. Idris Nassan, KOBANI’s deputy foreign affairs minister, said shelling on the city, near the Turkish border, had intensified since early morning although YPG Kurdish fighters are still holding up the defence of KOBANI for the moment as they will fight to the last drop of blood. Kurdish forces have in recent days evacuated several villages around the city, and more refugees crossed the border into Turkey. According to local reports, Kurdish leaders in the border region have called on both sides to observe a ceasefire during the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Adha, which starts on Saturday. However, ISIS said that they would pray in KOBANI on the first holiday of Eid. Although ISIS have made such threats in the past, as per Özgür Amed, a Kurdish activist and journalist, ISIS will not be able to do that but rather the only prayer ISIS will hold in KOBANI is for their own funeral. In KOBANI itself, the mood appeared to be defiant. Idris Nassan, KOBANI’s deputy foreign affairs minister, also said that “ISIS will never be able to take this KOBANI city as the Kurdish forces are prepared to face ISIS inside KOBANI, if they enter, to the point that KOBANI will become their grave. According to local media, ISIS took the strategically crucial Zorova Hill to the west of KOBANI back from Kurdish YPG forces late on Thursday night. Sources in the Kurdish Democratic Union party, the political wing of the YPG, announced that fighters had retreated to the city to prepare for “guerrilla-style urban warfare”. Without getting into further excessive details, the U.S. and its International allies need to stop with their over analysis equals paralysis approach and support the Kurds in their current fiercest and most barbaric attack in their history at the hands of ISIS. In my opinion, KOBANI is the turning point in the war waged by ISIS against all “Infidels” who do not share the same ideology as ISIS given that KOBANI is strategically positioned at the center of the IS territorial dreams such that if KOBANI falls, ISIS will gain a stranglehold on the region. Therefore, in my opinion, it is now or never for the U.S. and its International allies to either step up or shut up. In my opinion, KOBANI is more than a little city in Syria as KOBANI is a symbol of the heart of the resistance movement whereby all Kurdish fighters are willing to fight until death or until all ISIS fighters are buried in their land with their reign of terror crushed by the Kurdish hand.

On September 20, 2014, hundreds of Kurdish fighters raced from Turkey and Iraq into neighboring Syria to defend a Kurdish area called KOBANI which is under attack by Islamic State militants. As the fighting raged, more than 60,000 mostly Kurdish refugees streamed across the dusty and barren border into Turkey, some hobbling on crutches as others lugged bulging sacks of belongings on their backs. The large-scale displacement of so many Kurds and the movement of the Kurdish fighters into Syria reflect the current ferocity of the fighting in the northern KOBANI area, which borders Turkey. Militants of the extremist Islamic State group have been barreling through the area for the past three days, prompting Kurdish leaders to plead for international help. Given that the U.S. and its International allies do not wish to put their own boots on the ground against ISIS, I believe the Kurdish YPK has the right fighting spirit of “DEATH BEFORE SURRENDER” such that if the U.S. and its International allies give the Kurdish YPK a fighting chance, I believe the Kurdish YPK can break the ISIS KOBANI advance.

It is important to note that over the past three months, fighters from the Islamic State have targeted cities and areas in northern Iraq and Syria and massacred soldiers and residents, especially those belonging to minority tribes and other Muslim sects and religions. Here's a breakdown of some of the worst attacks by the radical Sunni group: CAMP SPEICHER(560 to 770 people killed); MOSUL(670 people killed); KIRKUK (At least 40people killed in four villages); YAZIDIS(At least 80 members of the minority religion were massacred); TABQA AIR BASE (120 Syrian soldiers who had been captured were subsequently killed); DEIR AL-ZOUR(700 tribesmen in eastern Syria were killed); Etc. On September 5, 2014, rumors circled that Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, has approved co-operation with the US as part of the fight against Islamic State (IS) in Iraq. Rumor has it that Ayatollah Khamenei has authorised his top commander to co-ordinate military operations with the US, Iraqi and Kurdish forces although Iran has traditionally opposed US involvement in Iraq, an Iranian ally. However, Shia Iran sees the extremist Sunni IS group, which views Shias as heretics, as a serious threat. Given that last month US air strikes helped Iranian-backed Shia militia and Kurdish forces break a two-month siege by Islamic State of the Shia town of Amerli, the Ayatollah Khamenei has most likely given his blessings to this collaboration. Without getting into further excessive details, the U.S. and its International allies have done what is necessary to contain ISIS without putting American boots on the ground. However, ISIS is still a military force to be reckoned with on the ground as ISIS has proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that although their means of massacring the “Infidels” like pigs may be psychopathic and insane, ISIS is able to take over the opposition positions with old school military style attacks leaving death and destruction in their paths. Therefore, in my opinion, the Ayatollah Khamenei of Iran has made the right choice, albeit the difficult choice from an Iranian perspective, to coordinate efforts with the US as the Ayatollah Khamenei seems to have seen that it is better to work with the Devil that everybody in Iran knows than the Devil that nobody in Iran seems to know and nobody in the Middle East seems to be able to control. That being said, in my opinion, the next critical deal that needs to be sealed is a deal between the Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces who follow a normal form of Sunni Islam and President Bashar al-Assad who follows a normal form of Shia Islam to put their differences aside and focus on controlling ISIS in Syria before they annihilate all “Infidels” of which both sides seem to fit the bill on ISIS’s “Hit List” of Heretics to kill. In my opinion, ISIS needs to be hit hard at its core in Syria by moderate Sunni’s themselves to send the message to ISIS and their followers that this is not a war against ISIS based on religion but rather this is a war against ISIS to put an end to their psychopathic maniac ways. However, the Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces should simultaneously enter into a ceasefire deal with President Bashar al-Assad whereby President Bashar al-Assad will stop firing at the Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces, and vice versa, while the Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces fight ISIS on the ground. As crazy as reconciliation between the Sunni Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces and the Shia under President Bashar al-Assad may sound, if the two sides do not stand their ground against ISIS in Syria, ISIS will steam roll over them all and Syria and Iraq as we know it will fall.

On Sunday, August 31, 2014, the US military attacked Islamic State positions in the besieged northern Iraqi town of Amerli and airdropped Humanitarian aid to civilians trapped there, the Pentagon has said. US aircraft delivered over a hundred bundles of emergency supplies and more aid was dropped from British, French and Australian planes, officials said on Saturday. Iraqi army and Kurdish forces closed in on Islamic State fighters on Saturday in a push to break the ISIS fighters' siege of Amerli, which has been surrounded by the fighters for more than two months. US jets and drones have also attacked the Islamic State group's positions near Iraq's Mosul Dam. In previous weeks, the US forces conducted airstrikes in support of Iraqi and Kurdish forces on the ground, fighting against the Islamic State, which controls large areas in Syria and Iraq. In Amerli, thousands of Shia Turkmen have been cut off from food and water for nearly two months besieged by Islamic State fighters. Residents, who are in danger because of their faith and their resistance to the armed group, have vowed to kill themselves rather than risk capture by the group. The Shia Turkmen in Amerli are backed by Shia militia members who have been flown into the town by Iraqi helicopters, then around the Shia Turkmen in Amerli there is a circle of Islamic State fighters, and around that from both sides are the Kurdish militias and the Iraqi army. Without getting into further excessive details, the U.S. and its International allies have done what is necessary to prevent a massacre in Amerli by giving the Turkmen Shia the support they need to carry on the fight. In my opinion, the philosophy of the Turkmen Shia in Amerli of vowing to kill themselves before being captured by the ISIS group warrants support both militarily and with Humanitarian Aid as it is this fighting spirit that will ultimately rise and prevail over ISIS. In my opinion, the U.S. and its International allies have with this counteroffensive in Amerli effectively sent the message to ISIS and all other similar organizations operating in the region that Genocide and crimes against Humanity will not be tolerated by any and all races, religions and/ or cultures. In my opinion, the U.S. and its International allies need to reinforce this message each and every time ISIS takes the fight to the extreme with Genocide and crimes against Humanity. That being said, in my opinion, it is now time to show ISIS that they will be held accountable for their actions and that their crimes against Humanity will not go unpunished. The most effective way to achieve this objective is to “Sandwich” the ISIS fighters currently encircling Amerli by arming the Turkmen Shia on the inside and the Kurdish militias and the Iraqi army on the outside so that they are in a position to have the Kurdish militias and the Iraqi army storm ISIS from the outside while the Turkmen Shia are able to defend against ISIS from the inside. In my opinion, the goal of this operation should be to show ISIS that they are not invincible, nor above the law, and that they will not be allowed to walk away unscaved after committing atrocities of the mentally insane.

On August 24, 2014, Iraq’s politicians were struggling to meet the constitutional deadline to form a new government when, in an isolated village, two masked men stepped into a Sunni mosque and opened fire on Friday, killing dozens of worshipers. Within hours, Sunni leaders said they were pulling out of the negotiations, and the political process was suddenly jammed again by the same sectarian rifts that have long bedeviled this country. It remained unclear whether the attack was carried out by Shiite militiamen or insurgents from the Islamic State group who have been advancing into mixed Sunni-Shiite areas and have been known to kill fellow Sunni Muslims who refuse to submit to their harsh interpretation of Islamic law. The formation of a new, inclusive government that could command some support from both Sunnis and Shiites is widely seen as a vital first step in confronting jihadists from the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS), who have stormed into Iraq, seizing territory and taking control of major cities in the north and west. President Obama has hailed the appointment of a new prime minister, Haider al-Abadi, and many observers hope that Mr. Abadi will undo the policies of his predecessor, Nuri Kamal al-Maliki, who has been accused of marginalizing Iraq’s Sunni minority and, in effect, opening the way for the advance of the Sunni militant group. Meanwhile, the UN has called for action to prevent what it says may be a possible massacre in the northern Iraqi town of Amerli which has been under siege by IS for two months, has no electricity or drinking water, and is running out of food and medical supplies. The majority of Amerli's residents are Turkmen Shia, seen as apostates by IS. The town's inhabitants say they have had to organise their own resistance to the militants and no foreign aid has reached the town since the siege began. The situation of the people in Amerli is desperate and demands immediate action to prevent the possible massacre of its citizens. Without getting into further excessive details, it appears to me that although the U.S. air strikes may have slowed down ISIS, ISIS is still holding on strong and ISIS will most probably massacre the majority of Amerli's residents who are Turkmen Shia, seen as apostates by IS, since no foreign aid has reached the town since the siege began over two months ago and the town is running low on ammunition, food and medical supplies. Therefore, in my opinion, the U.S. and its International allies need to prevent a massacre in Amerli by arming the Turkmen Shia resistance in Amerli combined with Humanitarian Aid to give the Turkmen Shia the strength to carry on the fight. In my opinion, the race or religion of the resistance to ISIS at this stage is not important, such that whether the resistance to ISIS are Shia, Sunni, Kurds, Yazidi, Christian, Etc., they should be duly armed to continue their fight on the ground while the U.S. continues to hammer ISIS from the air. In terms of the appointment of the new prime minister of Iraq, Haider al-Abadi, he needs to quickly convince the moderate Sunni’s to join forces with the moderate Shia’s and moderate Kurds and all other moderates to put an end to this ISIS carnage, as unfortunately, given that ISIS has chosen to live by the sword, the only way to stop ISIS is to have ISIS die by the sword. Furthermore, given that the root of the ISIS problem originated in Syria, the ISIS carnage must also be simultaneously stopped in Syria. Therefore, in my opinion, the U.S. and its International allies need to arm the Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces who follow a normal form of Sunni Islam to strike ISIS at their core in Syria by moderate Sunni’s themselves to send the message to ISIS and their followers that this is not a war against ISIS based on religion but rather this is a war against ISIS to put an end to their psychopathic maniac ways. However, the Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces should simultaneously enter into a ceasefire deal with President Bashar al-Assad whereby President Bashar al-Assad will stop firing at the Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces, and vice versa, while the Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces fight ISIS on the ground. Lastly, in my opinion, if President Bashar al-Assad of Syria who follows a normal form of Shia Islam wishes to join in the fight against ISIS, he should be welcomed in the spirit of putting an end to this ISIS Barbarian, Neanderthal, Self-Centered, Egotistical, Narcissistic, Masochistic, Sadistic and Idiosyncratic sociopathic and psychopathic maniac ways and returning to more civilized days.
